History: Since its birth in 1997, Apezone has defied all genres, categories, and tight borders. Between the years 1997-2005, Apezone independently released music, performed on various tv and radio programs, and played shows across Finland. After a long undetermined hiatus in the early spring of 2011, the time felt right for the second coming of Apezone. The band decided to get back on the saddle and played a handful of shows in late 2011. And it was noticed that a small dedicated group of fans had not forgotten Apezone. When new material seemed to come together painlessly, it was necessary to capture the new Apezone vibe for the no bullshit, straight forward EP "B.A.M.F." To obtain the true sound of Apezone in its purest form all the instruments were played live. Overdubs were only used with vocals and guitar solos. In the year 2012 Apezone is composing new material, playing shows, and doing promotion. The word of the second coming will spread across the Ape-oriented crowds.
