Historia:
Larry Peninsula story: It's been quite a long time that I've spent with music. I have no regrets at all. Music has given me strength and it has become an important part of me and what I represent. I really do think that music is the best universal language. Whether you are a Hindu or a Jewish you can understand and feel the power of music. That's also why music unites people. I'm sure that I'll be playing music when I'm 80 years old. I can see myself playing banjo on my porch in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It's surprisingly windy in Oulu. I had to make a song about the storm. This time a short summer song. Wrote the song when I wake up and recorded on the same breath.
Fastest song that I've done, I think this song has potential, I may need to make another version with time.
LYRICS:
It's a windyday in my hometown, Rain hits the ground, Thunder at my door.
Another day to stay at home, counting my coins lying on the floor.
I don't care if the trees fall down, Unless they hit my own house. All I need is the the storm going around to keep me home and away from trouble.
Yesterday I had too much fun. Stormy outside, Thunder in my Heart.
I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe nothings wrong, could be just the storm
I don't care if the trees fall down, Unless they hit my own house. All I need is the the storm going around to keep me home and away from trouble x2

A long time coming. I'm mad at myself because I had a too long break releasing song here. That's why I needed to make a good song. The chorus is ok Anyway.
LYRICS:
Summertime in North Carolina, my pretty girlfriend couldn't look any finer. There's a little cool breeze coming from off the ocean.
Staying way too late on our front porch. Talking bout the stars as the cars go by, oh how I like it down here.
"Bring me my guitar honey, I feel like playing a song or two". I bet you wanna hear the song that I wrote to you yesterday. Hey girl, it goes like this.
You are the Sweetest, You are the Nicest girl I know and you're all mine.
You got me Heated, you make me really feel it. You make me live - You saved my life.
Green Grass Grows, the water flows when we are heading up to Tupelo. That's where Elvis was born.
Meeting her parents at their farm. That's a little too far from where I was raised but I still like it down here.
The dad points at my guitar and he asks "Can you make a living with that thing?" I said "Well, you never Know." "Before I let you take her you must tell me how much you really care". That's when I said "Listen to me old man"
She is the Sweetest, She is the Nicest girl I know and She's all mine.
She got me Heated, she really makes feel it. She makes my life and she saved my Soul.
On our way back home I stop at the parking lot. Take my guitar out and sing this song
You are the Sweetest, You are the Finest girl I know and you're all mine.
You got me Heated, you make me really feel it. Oh, it's all about you girl. You saved my life you saved my soul. You saved me.

Song came in 20 minutes but the recording didn't. Everything made today. Thanks for the idea to Jay Tagline.
Every instrument recorded on one take, but I can't say the same thing about the vocals. I changed the melodies all the time. Well, here I'm again, back to my roots.
LYRICS:
I'm gonna sing you a country song. I guess you knew this was coming. I bet this won't surprise you at all. I do what I do and it's country not the blues. Here's another one for you.
Country songs are the dreams of the working man, at least that's what Haggard said. When I was in Nashville, I felt like I was home
Back to my roots, back to my country.
Honkytonk Man, that's what I planned to be. Another sad story and a sight to see. Give me a dime or a smile, I'm your Honkytonk Man.
I spend my time making songs and drinking beer. Everynight I go to city and greet my friends. After the day is done, I go wherever I go. To the Road, maybe to Ohio.
Honkytonk Man, that's what I planned to be. Another sad story and a sight to see. Give me a dime or a smile, I'm your Honkytonk Man.
and it just goes on and on.....

6 hour project. Everything was made in six hours: songwriting, instruments and mixing. Simple country tune.
Blue Moon is also a beer brewed by the Molson Coors Brewing Company. You never know where the Blue Moon will take you!
LYRICS:
Who I am today, it's not who I am tomorrow. Where I stayed yesterday, it's not where I am tomorrow.
Blue Moon, where are you gonna take me tonight. Blue Blue Moon, I don't want you to break me.
David called, asked where I am and said "meet me at the Fridays".
A cup of coffee and a cigarette. Rainy days are coming in.
Blue Moon, where are you gonna take me tonight. Blue Blue Moon, I don't want you to break me.
Day turns to night, night turns to dust. That's fine with me. I go down the road, that I'm meant to go. That's who I'm today.
Blue Blue Moon, I don't want you to break me. Blue Moon, where are you gonna take me.
Who I am today, it's not who I am tomorrow. Where I stayed yesterday, it's not where I am tomorrow.

I tried to make a song sounding like Bruce Springsteen but it ended up sounding like Larry Peninsula's basic country hit.
The Story is not about Nelson, Willie Nelson. The name just has a country twang that I like.
lyrics:
When we were young, Willie and me, we always had fun. Running in the woods of Albertine. Going to a place only Willie and I knew.
When we were young, Willie and Me, well we had a band. Just two of us and an old guitar. We always liked the same songs.
This song's for Willie. My best friend I ever had, and I think it's a pity. I got to sing this song without him.
When we grew up, I built a house on beautiful hill. Willie helped me in everything, always had a smile on his face.
When times got rough, I always tried to stand behind him. Living wasn't always easy for him. I guess I wasn't there enough.
This is a song for Willie. My best friend I ever had, and I think it's a pity. I got to sing this song without him.
I remember when we were driving on the interstate, telling bad jokes, ending up in a bar. Laughing until we cry, without a reason why. Willie, soulbrothers.
When we are old, willie said; "Hey Larry, you think we're still going to be friends?" Well I'm glad to say we still are, although now willie is gone.

I decided to post a new and hopefully a better version of Away Too Long. What's different? Well the Key is higher, I changed some lyrics and the C-part is basicly all new. Hope you like it and for all of my listeners Happy New Year. Song is about people with drug/alcohol addictions who are finally starting to realize the situation they're in.
LYRICS:
I've been away too long, took it to the limit. I've been in pain too long, I couldn't see it. I've raced againts my life, but I didn't win it. Wasn't so sure about tomorrow.
I've been down in my hometown, I've been low, in a No-Town. I've crashed to the ground, too many times. Couldn't see anything.
On the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk
Begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me.
I lost the count on days and the sad thing: I don't really even care if it's sunday or a monday. It may be too late but I still have a little faith. In me and my Dignity.
I watch all the couples walking by and see what I forgotten to do. I watch my life slowly passing by and dream what it could have been.
On the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk.
Begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me.
My life ain't a success story. But it was me who made these choices. My life ain't much to brag about, I'm on my own.
On the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk. Begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me, no no.
Away Too Long.

This is a short beat that I made without a purpose. Or maybe you'll hear this on Kanye West's new album.

Here's some real southern fried country. I wrote the song when I woke up and recorded it on the same day. And this time back to the basic, simple arrangement. Lots of vocals this time.
Lyrics:
I was born 22 years ago, to a family with oil in its veins
I ain't like they wanted me to be, rock n roll, it's my thing
Driving in the mud with my pick up truck, Merle Haggard on the radio
He's singing bout the war in Iraq, well I got my gun so bring it on
I got my gun that's all I need
I'm a nighttime rider and a bar fighter, don't come telling me that ain't right
I have tattoos, that's what I do and What I do is the Blues
When my band's on the road headin' up the city which nobody knows,
that's the place where I wanna stay , play a country song
I have a band and we play all day, neighbours say it's too loud
all they to do is just complain, It don't worry me, I like it loud
Simple man, that's what I am, but I ain't the worst of them all
To me my family is the One, I should really hold on, yeah
That's what I should hold on
I'm a nighttime rider and a bar fighter, don't come telling me that ain't right
I have tattoos, that's what I do and What I do is the Blues
When my band's on the road headin' up the city which nobody knows,
that's the place where I wanna stay every day all year, THAT'S HOW WE DO IT HERE

Easy going country song with upbeat tempo. I would say it has a Keith Urban style.
LYRICS:
People on the streets, they don't know me at all
They disappear into the city lights, don't know what's on my mind
I know a man from Boston, but he doesn't know me, no no
I wan't to travel to a place where I'm complete unknown
My dog is my best friend, Kenny knows me well
We share the same dreams , sometimes the same meals
But I knew a girl from Austin. but she didn't know me, no no
It may be cause of me and my ideals.
Let me know, if you're coming to town
And I hope, everything's alright
Let me know, give me a call
I would appreciate it
Let me know, if we're still ok
And I hope, you let me know someday
you know my number, give me a call
I would appreciate it
When I look at to the moon, all I see
Is your smile shining on the rearview and the midnight blues
we were lying in the deserts , somewhere in Mexico
I want to go there again, to that feeling again
Don't look back to the things I said, you know I didn't mean to be so mean.
I know one thing, I'm a different man. you can count on me.
Just give me a change
Let me know, if you're coming to town
And I hope, everything's alright
Let me know, give me a call
I would appreciate it
Let me know, if we're still ok
And I hope, you let me know someday
you know my number, give me a call
I would appreciate it
I'm glad you called, even though it's over
We had a great time, Well I did anyway
Lying in the desert, somewhere in Mexico
I'm lying in the desert, somewhere in Mexico
Well I know, we're still ok
and I hope, we could still be friends
let me know, gimme a call
I would appreciate it

Older song of mine. For some reason, this song was a success, although I didn't personally like it. Music works in mysterious ways.
Lyrics:
Jail Song
I don't wanna go, but I did what I did
It's time for me, it's my time to go
("Larry Peninsula, get on the bus" -Guard in San Quentin)
I step on the bus, bench made of steel
this is my ride, this is my final ride
Escape from my mind, Escape from Reality
this is my life, there goes my life
Behind the bars, can't see the stars, this is the Jail Song
The guy next to me, thinks he is a she, how bad can this be?
Is there a way, I can get away and start my life again
Everything went wrong, and this is the Jail Song
Arriving to the Jail, Arriving to the Hell.
to my new home, it ain't no Galveston
Now I have the time, now I have time to rot
Where's the meaning? There's no meaning
They can't touch my soul, they can't take control
That's what's left of me, you can agree
Behind the bars, can't see the stars, this is the Jail Song
The guy next to me, thinks he is a she, how bad can this be?
Is there a way, I can get away and start my life again
And so I failed, and this is the Jail Song
The worst thing to me is going through this world, without my son and my freedom I rather not exist.
But there's a price I need to pay for living in this world. I regret what I did to my Kid.
Behind the bars, can't see the stars, this is the Jail Song
The guy next to me, thinks he is a she, how bad can this be?
Is there a way, I can get away and start my life again
There's not a way, can't get away and start my life again
I'm in the Jail Now.

I've had this one for a while and I'm happy that it's finally here.
I reallly like the modern country from USA and this one's my attempt to be a Nashvillian.
From the Mac Sessions.
LYRICS:
Don't take life for granted, don't get to me.
Your life ain't planned, can you see
Zero Miles a Gallon, Without a heavy load
Just take a break and hit the Road.
Don't wait for the morning come, open up the gate.
Run, Run Like Forrest Gump.
Through the rainy days to shiny Frisco Bay.
Run, Run like you never done.
Through the Midnight Sun like Forrest Gump.
I hope you're feeling better, just for me.
When you're feeling down, so am I
When the days go by counting minutes, there's something wrong
Just take a break and say Hello to Life.
He fought in the Vietnam War, read the names on the wall.
Run, Run Like Forrest Gump.
Through the rainy days to shiny Frisco Bay.
Run, Run like you never done.
Through the Midnight Sun like Forrest Gump.
No matter what's the weather, you're running on forever
There's no time or a day you wouldn't run on.
No matter where you're going, or if it's snowing.
You won't be slowing down.
Run, Run Like Forrest Gump.
Through the rainy days to shiny Frisco Bay.
Run, Run like you never done.
Through the Midnight Sun like Forrest Gump.
Do it just for fun like Mr. Gump.
He was a good man, I'm proud of him

This is not so much my style but I enjoy trying a few different things every now and then. I'm not sure what this is. When I started I said to myself that I'm gonna make this ready tonight and I did, although it's now about 5 in the morning...
Everything by Larry.
LYRICS:
She's on my mind, coming back all the time. No need to remind, I know it ain't no crime.
Shes's my valentine, like a blue moon on a saturday night.
If I knew what to say to her,
Then I'd know what to do with myself.
If I knew what I should do, I swear.
She would be my girl, She would be my lady.
There's a drunken shadow, huh, at your door, you know that's me and what I'm waiting for
The answer for my lonely soul, is the melody in the Golden Ode.
If I knew what to say to her,
Then I'd know what to do with myself.
If I knew what I should do, I swear.
She would be my girl, She would be my lady.
There's a misty road for you and me, only not knowing which way to go.
Don't know where to begin but in the end I will win.
If I knew what I should do, I swear.
She would be my girl, She would be my lady, She would be my lady.
Keep it going.... showe it.

No More Rainy Days (re-recorded) |
Country
|
Long time no see. Old song redone again.
Recorded at O'Garry Studios. With a bonus arrangement and a special flavour.
Co-producing, recording and mixing by Raine Oikarinen from Random Mullet. Instrumentation and Vocalisation and co-production by Peninsula Sr.
LYRICS:
It was friday morning, we packed the car. Day after the storm in Arkansas. Where should we go, to New Mexico? The water washed my town away
Just about a month ago, I was swimming in the Eastwood River. Mother Nature Terror, should I forgive her. What should I do with Ronnie and Jude. The water washed my town away.
No More Rainy Days, this town is full in many ways. No more fading away, 'cause I'm here today.
Water our enemy, but still a necessity. Traffic jam in New York City. Climate change and Al Gore. The Water washed my town away.
No More Rainy Days, this town is full in many ways. No more fading away, 'cause I'm here today. Water on my town, Water on your town.
Where do we go? Seems nobody knows. No place to call a home anymore.
No More Rainy Days, this town is full in many ways. No more fading away, 'cause I'm here today.
No More Rainy Days, this town is full in many ways. I won't be fading away, 'cause I'm here today.

This was meant to be a serious joke that I sent to my american buddy. I decided to share this poem with you too.
LYRICS:
Look at the sun
Look at the clouds go by
Look at the Pirate ship, sailing on the Sea
Look at the rain, falling from the sky tonight
Raindrops are breaking, at the ground overnight
Somebody is yelling your name.
You can't hear it, you don't wanna hear it
What about the lost people
What about the poor nations all over the world
We need new leader, we need a better leader
We need time, We need Change
That's what we need, We need Change
I have one name for you
The name isn't Michael Jackson or Osama Bin Laden
That name is...
That name is...
That name is...
Barack Obama, Vote for Change

Where should I start... Another project with Rain O'Garry (from Random Mullet). It's great to record with him because he knows a lot more about mixing. I wrote the lyrics to this song at wee wee hours on friday and made the chords and the melody on saturday morning. This isn't the easiest songs that I've done, chords are not usual at times. To me it's fun to be able to record more than 8 tracks. There's more background stuff now. Raine Oikarinen - mixing, keyboards, drum programming and he gave a few really good tips that wouldn't have think of. And a great key solo after the guitar solo!
Larry Peninsula - Vocals, guitars, drum programming, bass.
This song is dedicated to Hunter S. Thompson, genius and a man who really lived on the edge.
LYRICS: Take a gun, take a shot, I can not trust the one who forgot. Take a pill on the hill, fulfill the day with a dollar bill.
Feel the breeze, it's your disease, can not wait the suicide squeeze
Make my day, pour me some irish whiskey Seed the soil, it's a risky business. Do obey, and pour me some more whiskey. It's what I am, it's my command, I'm living in The Edgeland,
Feed the snake, press the brake, can't stand to be awake and mistaken.
Write the story, drown my body, it's not glory The day I leave, I'm relieved, glad to see, what I achieved.
Make my day, pour me some irish whiskey. Seed the soil, it's a risky business. Do obey, and pour me more whiskey. It's what I am, it's my command, I'm living in The Edgeland.
Hello this is Larry Peninsula, I'm in the Edgeland right now, call me later.
Shake my day, share a line of cocaine. Feed the devil, there is no pain. Hate & Pray, and pour me more champagne. What I am? Chasing away. What I am? Chasing away. I'm what I am, chasing away, living in the Edgeland.

In Jackson's Bar (the band version) |
Country
|
In Jackson's Bar again. I gotta say, making this was so much fun. I just relaxed and made a cool version of it. The original has the real feeling but this one is more interesting to listen.
It's half reggae, half country. This wouldn't be possible in Nashville music industry!
LYRICS:
LYRICS: I was going to the Jacksons, it's a bar in this town. I should do some gambling before I change my mind. My friend Jimmy works as an actor, he ain't doin' so good anymore. He sleeps in a factory with his dog and a beer.(oh my)
Chorus: Sometimes life ain't so easy, but you gotta keep movin' on. This song has a meaning for us who still feel. I don't wanna see Jimmy cry in Jackson's bar.
We stole a car from the bar and drove to Ohio. I wanted to see my mom and say hello. We drove through the rain, hurricanes and the fields. We wanted to see the Sea.
Chorus: Sometimes life ain't so easy, but you gotta keep movin' on. This song has a Feeling for us who still feel. I don't wanna see Jimmy cry in Jackson's bar.
Listen to your Dream, before it really means nothing at all. -stop dreaming - start living -(ok, it's getting a little weird down here so let's go on with the song)
Life ain't so easy, but you gotta keep movin' on. And this song has a meaning for us who still feel. Sometimes my wife ain't so easy, she just keep yagging about everything, this song has a meaning, for us who still feel.
I don't wanna see Jimmy cry, I don't wanna see Jimmy when he's been drinking, I don't wanna see Jimmy cry in Jackson*s bar, repeat it...
Thanks, take it easy

Although this song doesn't represent musically so much what I am about, I think we really captured the spirit what Raine was looking for.

This song has quite a rocking chorus. Must be one of my better songs, I feel that way anyway... On the beginning you can hear a black woman singing, that's me, sorry.... I'm also a huge Bruce Springsteen fan and saw his concert last week, just amazing. Chorus has a Bruce vibe to me. Or I just wanna say that.... He's the Boss, I'm more like a apprentice.
LYRICS:
Paintings on the wall, one's from San Antonio. Papers on the floor, in San Antonio. Children going to school, one's Antonio. He just moved into a town, called San Antonio.
Some are walking on the River Walk. Others watching Tower of the Americas.
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, Like rolling stones.
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, to San Antonio.
Old man sippin' on a regular wine, remembering his beautiful wife who died in San Antonio
A city cop, was in Candy shop. A young boy named Antonio, got caught in San Antonio.
Some people call it "Alamo City." But guys like me say:
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, Like rolling stones.
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, to San Antonio.
It's a place where you can stay, no-one will say get outta here. This may sound like a Cliche, but there's nothing, better, than, This City.
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, Like rolling stones.
San Antonio, how 'bout a little rodeo. Here we come, San Antonio.
(I wanna get there someday, I need to see the city that I'm singing about, San Antonio. Obrigado)

Another country song. The sounds aren't that good on this one, but you'll here what's the main idea anyway. This song is a long time coming.

People have seem to be liking my songs with vocals. First of all I thank you all for that. That gives me a reason to keep on doing these.
Here's a new one with a sad sad story. I think this one's my best one so far as a song. The song is a story about an alcoholic and drug-addicted people.
LYRICS:
I've been away too long, took it to the limit. I been in pain too long, I couldn't see it. I've raced againts my life, but I didn't win it. Wasn't so sure about tomorrow.
I'be been down in my hometown, I've been low, in a no-town. I've crashed to the ground, too many times. Couldn't see anything.
I'm on the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk
begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me
I lost the count on days, don't really even care. If it's sunday or monday. "Hey buddy! You have a beer? I'm all alone, down here." And that's the way it goes.
I watch all the couples, walking by. and see i forgotten to do. I watch my life, slowly passing by. and dream what it could have been.
On the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk.
Begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me.
All the drugs I've taken, all the crimes I made, Have taken me down oh so low.
I lost too many years, I drank too many beers, I'm so down, oh so low.
On the corner, lying on the sidewalk, on the alley, with no-one to talk.
Begging for money, getting in trouble, I don't know what happened to me.

Flight to NY started with a groovy bassline and everything else was pretty much flowing in the air. I may use this song in the future, there's a few good lines near and dear to me.
This song would be even better with vocals but I ain't got no lyrics to this one yet so, we'll see if I have time and nerves. Summer song!

If That's What I Can Get |
Folk
|
I'm gonna make a better version of this soon but here's the root I made quikly. People were sleeping so I couldn't be too loud you know
You should listen to this with the lyrics, without the lyrics it will basicly,,, just suck. So this is a easy going track with humorous touch(maybe not to all though...)
LYRICS:
I need a place, where I can rest. Kind of a place, what I can get. I don't need anything fancy, just a roof over my head. Maybe a house on the Hollywood Hills, if that's what I can get.
I need a car, fast and red. Kind of a car, what I can get. It doesn't need to be too cool, just four wheels and a roof. Maybe a Rolls Royce, if that's what I can get.
People say I'm too demanding, but I'm just a simple, humble guy. My friends say they can't stand me. So what can I do?
I need a girl, loyal to me and my needs. Kind of a woman, who feeds me. She doesn't need to be a model, nor a cleaning lady. Maybe Marilyn Monroe, if she's what I can get.(well, you never know)
People say, well what they say. But I need what I need. My friends say: "you're a fool!". So what can I do?
I need to work, to narrow down my rage. Kind of a work, with a decent wage. "It doesn't need to be anything fancy but I" I want fame. I could be the president of the USA, it's not hard to do. I could be astronaut, or just me, Bobby Lee.
I need to go home, and see my wife. Actually see is just fine, and what I can get. I like my old Toyota, after Uno Corona.(opening one!).And these are the things, I can afford. But I'll chance my Toyota to a pick-up Ford, that's what I can get.

Good Evening, Moody Feeling |
Country
|
This has a little Eagles tone to it. Vocals are too low on this one but I decided to give it a try. Words are kinda weird but maybe that's just me...
LYRICS:
Living in a dream world, flying with the eagle in the sky. Listening to the Eagles, having a peaceful easy feeling.
Sometimes I can't feel anything. I can't hear, but I have no fear, that's ok. But Tonight I can feel everything. I can see the light, it's not the God's light (I'm not out of my mind).
Good evening moody feeling. How 'bout a little dreaming? Where were you on yesterday evening. I bet you were dreamin'.(x2 i guess)
Different colors, paint the world. Like red wine or the deep blue sea or the yellow submarine. Different point of views and the chancing attitudes.
I'm dreaming in a real world. Too much jealousy and wasted memories. On my mind, I'm in a beautiful island. The sun goes down and I feel so fine and I say goodbye. Good evening moody feeling. How 'bout a little dreaming? Where were you on yesterday evening. I bet you were dreamin'.
This is a raw demo and close what this song should sound like. It's a risky business we live in.

This is something like the previous song. With low and invicible vocals. It was very close that this song would have been destroyed btw. Enjoy the pedal steel! The sound is a bit DARKY but I can do no better. This song is dedicated to Dick Tars.
LYRICS: I believe I can see your dreams. But they seem to be too much for me. Remember what Bobby said. He said " life is a mystery". You could be gone, you could be history.
Do you remember the day, when we moved to Anaheim. It was a sunny day, but something changed along the way. Then came the California rain and misery. Our house could be gone, our life could be history. Do you know, if we're staying together. Although we're living in stormy weather.
Now I'm alone. Alone in my fishing boat. And she's been gone two months in a row. I remember what Bobby said, now I know what he means. Now she's gone. She's part of my history. I don't care, if we're staying together. I like living in stormy weather.
I believed. I could see your dreams. But they seemed to be too much for me. I know what bobby said. Life's still a mystery to me. I could be gone, I could be history. (yeah, that's what he said) Sun is shining here in Tennessee and I'm trying to catch some fish. (Oletusarvo, paina muokataksesi)

I made this song a couple of days ago. I decided to put it here because it's a special song to me. I attempted to do some easy going vocals. This is a tribute to all Willie Nelson, J. Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Simon & Garfunkel. I wanted to get an authentic feel and not to push the vocals too much. I'm not much of a singer so deal with it. I finished the lyrics and the song really fast, easiest song that I've done.
LYRICS: I was going to the Jacksons, it's a bar in this town. I should do some gambling before I change my mind. My friend Jimmy works as an actor, he ain't doin' so good anymore. He sleeps in a factor with his dog and a beer Chorus: Sometimes life ain't so easy, but you gotta keep movin' on. This song has a meaning for us who still feel. It's hard to see Jimmy cry in Jackson's bar. It's hard to see Jimmy cry in Jackson's bar. Listen to your Dream, before it really means nothing at all. Sometimes life ain't so easy, but you gotta keep movin' on. This song has a meaning for us who still feel. I don't wanna see Jimmy cry, I don't wanna see Jimmy when he's been drinking, I don't wanna see Jimmy cry in Jackson town...I mean bar. (that's a real mistake and I felt like sticking with it) The sound is a bit darky but hey, that's country!

I wanted to make a video of me recording a song from start to finish, to show you how I make music. The song coming together is actually seen on this next video. I couldn't make too long song because it would have been a boring video. Sound on the video isn't good because it was shot with a digital camera.Don't mind about the little break in the middle.

Smoky Blues For Ya'll |
Blues

I don't really know the reason why I haven't done any blues songs before. I consider myself more a blues than a jazz guitarist. Anyway this is a imrovised tune and there's a few interesting guitar lines. This is quite raw, with mistakes in it, I didn't want to make it too clean, blues shouldn't be too clean. all the instruments pretty much on one take too to keep it blues

oh my, this project was doomed even before I started it. After three hours of recording, my machine broke down and everything was gone! I wasn't so happy on that moment. But I couldn't surrender, so I started From The Start Again (listen that too!). It took three hours but this latter version is actually better. The drum fill at the end tells how frustrated I was.

This song was all written and recorded today. You can hear lots of my influences on this track, like Toto and Larry Carlton.... And again drums on one take, it wasn't easy to remember what part comes after other. 3 guitars; lukather style lead guitar, and the jazz guitar + acoustic fender. There's always something happening in Harlem, I captured the Harlem feeling without getting shot.

I have 4 different version of this song and this is the latest with a new bass line. Hardest Word is a jazzy gospel song. I've been interested in american gospel music lately. I'm trying to learn more about it all the time.

I made a few changes to this song and added the strings. This is an acoustic country influenced song. Another song from a very productive week. There's also one special instrument that doesn't belong to country music. The percussion sound you'll hear is actually rice in a little box. This isn't pure country, there's also a littlebit of latin and jazz flavour.

I got this idea of melody on my mind today. I put the recorder on and played this on one take. Most of this song is improvisation on that specific moment. This song was again a surprise for me. One hour ago I didn't have any clue of this song. So this one is just keys and me. Dedication to mother.

I wanted to make one song with just drums and I was satisfied how it sounded. But(!) I couldn't resist adding more instruments. I basicly put the drum track on and played the keyboards on just one take. I decided to leave that take because the chords are improvisation and I was very pleased with it. I think this song has the best drumming track that I've done. Thanks also to my dad who gave few really good advices.

This song is based on idea that I came up about two years ago. I could see this song to be played in a little village somewhere in Portugal. This song was actually suprising for me, I didn't expect it to sound anything like this. Manuel Benítez was known as the Cordovan, one of the greatest matadors.

I wanted to make one Jazz fusion song. This is also with all the instruments like my previous song. Sometimes you have to make decisions in your life and take a whole new way of looking everything. I'm gonna dedicate this song to Michael Whitewine (M.V.) who made me to write this song and he is an amazing musician himself too.

I recorded this song in the small hours of the night and that's where the name came from. I was trying to feel the connection between me and my keyboards. This is a very relaxed song. Take a sit and let the music burst into your soul too!

This is one of my earliest recordings with my Boss recorder. It's just me and my Fender. Pure improvisation with the most basic and best guitar tone that I know. Dreams gives people a reason to believe and it gives people a reason to live.
