Sanctimonious: I Love the Night

I Love the Night

The sun falls behind the horizon
And twilight comes as an overture
To celebrate the coming night
True cosmic darkness is so beautiful

Why can't the sun just stay down?
Why can't I live in eternal night?
(Maybe) if everything was as dark as me
I would feel like I'm home sometimes

I love the night
I lust the darkness
I crave for it eternally
And one day I shall have my will!

(The) cyclic order of world disturbs me
For what if it will never end?
Maybe there is another life after death?
And we have to live again like the sun

But the darkness calms me
The old grimness and coldness
It gives promises of eternal end
And I believe the night

I love the night
I lust the darkness
I crave for it eternally
And one day I shall have my will!

The night is my time
And when dawn draws near
I disappear from the suns eyes
Crawl back in to the little corner in my mind
