EARTH

As I am driving my off-road vehicle
And praise the lord of creating such a miracle
I smoke a cigarette while the wheels keep rolling on
And wonder why are the leaves falling all summer long

I take a look at the garbage in my hand
Would it be clever to throw it to the sand?
Maybe the soil would be glad and should be blessing me?
No no no, it gets really sad, it doesn't like debris

What if this planet won't see another sunrise
Maybe its tired eyes have seen enough of lies
I think it's time for us to break the ice
Let us be wise, or our planet dies

I'm not a hippie nor crazy, I'm a human being
Watching the looniest movie I've ever seen
Another scene of our lives on the big screen
What does this mean? How foolish we have been!

Walking in the woods scares me so bad
A fear of snapping a bough drives me mad
It would be a meaningless act beside my way of life
which is like stabbing the nature with a knife

What do I leave to my kids when I'm gone
Maybe a lesson of how things go wrong
I wish they learn to respect this brittle paradise
And try to prove that we are not the bad guys
