Historia: WOLFCHILD-REAL ROCK IS NOT DEAD!!! WOLFCHILD was founded during 2002 by guitarist Marko Purosto, bassist Jaska Koivusilta , drummer Tomi Nousiainen and vocalist/guitarist Kim Högberg. The demo 'Tales Of The Urban Decadence' sported cover versions of TWISTED SISTER's 'Shoot 'Em Down' and W.A.S.P.'s 'The Flame'. Also there was of course - 2 original tracks. The 'Toxic' sessions were recorded during November 2004 at Rockstar Studios with producer Lari Takala. WOLFCHILD re-employed Lari Takala in October 2005 to cut tracks for a debut album. This self-titled effort was released in 17 countries by US label Perris Records in June 2006. The track 'One Woman' also saw inclusion on the compilation album 'Hollywood Hairspray Vol. 6'. In january 2007 Band and Högberg go their separate ways,new guy Mika Siitonen steps in and the band takes a touring guitarist Antti Röksä in. Then the shit hit the fan big time. Bassplayer Jaska Koivusilta died in early april. The band decided to rock on, no matter what. Antti Röksä joined the band as a fulltime member around that time too. The search for a new bassplayer started and a new man was quickly found, since the band asked Jaska´s long time friend Rude to join the band. He agreed and so Wolfchild was ready to strike again! Now, as a five piece, with new material written, the boys are ready to play gigs again and start preparing the recordings for the next Wolfchild album. Real rock will never die!
