The Manchester fashion label heading to China on a seven figure deal

The "Distinctly British" label Lavish Alice is certainly a Manchester born label to watch for 2017.

After having a fantastically successful 2016, with stars across the globe dressed in their uber stylish pieces, we caught up with the duo directors who are looking forward to the future of the brand.

On first impressions, this label reflects what the youth of today want from a label they can trust.

Especially when dressing stars such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner who young women look to for style inspiration.

Creative and Marketing Director Lee Bloor, gave us a great insight into how they intend to keep making waves in the fashion industry.

"The current market is so competitive with the likes of Boohoo and Missguided who bring current trends straight to their consumers, we would like to keep our place firmly between high street and designer.... where we can create trending looks but always with that lavish twist."

This comes as no surprise with looking at their innovative collections which showcase just something subtle to make them stand out from the usual trends we see everyday.

After meeting at university, Creative & Marketing Director Lee Bloor and Retail & Operations Director Matthew Lucian, founded Lavish Alice upon graduation, marking the beginning of a pioneering 10 year relationship.

The brand has had great success with the likes of ASOS, Topshop Revolve and Zalando being key territories for the brands success.

Lee Bloor gushed of their forever growing global recognition, with leading online store ASOS playing a key part in the success they have had over the past couple of years.

"Our signature item the caped blazer, made over £4m in retail revenue last year, and continues to be our most popular staple go to look we are widely recognised for... after having such a huge year this year we spent Christmas and New Year away on holiday just enjoying our free time together without having to worry about Lavish.

Whats does the future hold

With 2016 being a fantastic year for global expansion for Lavish Alice, they will launch into the lucrative Chinese market with a seven figure celebrity endorsement deal in 2017.

The brand gave us an EXCLUSIVE into how they plan on breaking into the worlds largest economy.

Lee explains, "From 4th-8th February me and Matthew will be travelling to Beijing to work on a huge project with a Multi award winning Chinese actress and fashionista named Liu Shishi."

The deal comes in the style of a seven figure deal with the brand hoping to take over the Chinese fashion industry.

The actress has an impressive 26 million followers on Weibo, and is regarded as one of China's 30 most influential women... with this deal under their belt, the designers could not be more excited for their prosperous year ahead.
