Sugarbee

You're breakin me up and you're slowin me down
got no room for accommodation
the bottle broke and it spilled on the ground,
hope it soiled your fixation

I got no time or ability to watch you flail in front of me and I've no desire for your saved grace.
I'd give it all back now to have you here in front of me, to have my life parts put back into place.

The tap turned on and you poured out
poured out your soul to my aching and wanting and loving and heaving heart
But when I knew what you were about I turned and spit it back out on you, back out on to you.
I've got the strength and agility to pour your lifeless form here in front of me and
I recognize all but your face,
baby, babe, you need a shave and a sweet sting from a Sugarbee and a way to get us both out of this place.

But Tarnished time has moved on quickly
it's bent and turned us out of shape
oh and now remainders are a travesty, all weak and worn they slowly fade away.

Do you think I'm holding you back?
Is it posiible
possible that I am holding you back
well you won't move, you won't talk you won't say what is holding you back,
me, I don't know how to change who to be what to know just to be holding you back

Well I am here and you are gone and that's all we need to know for the end to quickly begin.
Unravel reams of twine and trust as if they never really held you, never held to you.

I'll model ancient stability and keep my posture stagnant, yet pretty.
It takes no effort to erase
I know what time has passed and forgottenness still sings for me, but leaves a shady room in its heart space.

And the fragrant past is stinking
though I'd hoped it would refresh
oh, and my whole world should be sinking
but I know as I am now is at my best
