SYLAFYRA: An Examination Of Omnipotency

** An Examination Of Omnipotency

Dreams of a little place in the Alps, high north
Heavy water rising up and coming down in big streams
Forthcoming avalanches make my head steady
Beams of sunlight burn the doors of the High Court

Ready all people who go walking 'round in steam
Abort all your thoughts, 'coz they're getting too scary
Lean on my shoulder, little girl, don't stop short
Mary, Mother of God, why you have to be so mean?

Contort me endlessly, all this void makes me weary
Keen as I am to see what's at the final port
A very friendly star I think I've never seen
Sort out my head I think I see it too clearly

Clean like a fresh wound, as pretty as it's sore
Barely even breathing, I can see my eyes gleam
Before all this is over you must treat my senses fairly
Scream if you're behind me or just kick down my door

I can't understand why I keep having these Siamese dreams
One head's enough, but mine come in two's and three's
It feels like my Brain is ripping at the seams
Candlelight repeating in the window makes up for loss of creed
I'm different from God in that God has nothing that I need
I only listen to my blood to tell me where I bleed
I have strict control over my mind since it's just a binary feed
Therefore I must create a void before I plant my seed

You must read and understand my book before you enter my garden
For it has not a gate or a big and burly warden
It's protected by the void I made when I wrote my post mortem
So you can't break the locks and infiltrate unless you know the spell I laid upon them

'Coz when I laid down the soil I took extra care to make sure it can support the stem
Soon followed the glistening ice and the gray mist like a soft gem
Then I composed the flowers, bushes, plants and trees to grow from them
And they themselves created blue and purple birds to breathe the life in them
