I met this man who saw me
facing the ground,

and he asked me questions
about my destinations
and told me something
that would soon give birth to everything

having said this
he suddenly disappeared
and the ground before me
started to sing a familiar song for me
and the words started to
rain down on my face
and in those raindrops
I saw a part of myself

I knew I could really get anywhere I wanted to
and I knew that I could really be
anything I had ever wanted to be

it's not how far apart we are
from each other
it's more about where we can get
from where we've stood before
