Johannes Laitila: House with No Walls or a Roof

I live in a house with no walls or a roof. No one knows about me except for you. I have no idea of how to get out, and the distance is too far to shout.

And I know: by the moment that I wake up, you'll be gone.

I live in a house with no walls or a roof. I think you should be living inside of one too. I don't mind the cold, the wind or the rain. I don't mind the distance nor the pain.

And I know: by the moment that I wake up, you'll be gone.

Every day I wake up at noon and I feel like I should have told you, the person in the dreams of mine, that I'm slowly sliding out of sight.
