It's so hard to believe
so hard to accept the truth
living alone your middle age years
and you can't go back to your youth
Unfilled promise of God
one beautiful day to unchain
you can just smell but you can't touch

but he never did

Totally cheated

left without candy

logic in things what we do
when we lose our mind in desperate love
and the promised land is never true.
