well, just thinking about starting this thread like discussed on the thread:
"any foreign musicians here?"
just an idea, that it should maybe be help for foreign artists to put out their music here, without having to convert the whole mikseri.net
to mp3.com, which sucks...
this forum could be a tool and a place to conversate in English and also to be of assistance for anyone needing it!

Sounds good to me. A section for English-speaking people would be convenient, plus a thread which explains all the basic functions of Mikseri.net just like capturedi suggested.

Hmm.. On second thought, there aren't many foreigners here so I guess I'm going to agree that there's no need for an entire section for foreigners.
But if the number of foreign artists was to increase greatly then it would be a good idea.

Hmm, I agree with SLaitila, I don't see need for a whole forum in English. One getting-around-type of thread explaining Mikseri in general would be enough. As said, it's not forbidden to start English threads on those areas.
I agree. There are so few foreign artists in Mikseri. Some sort of example images of how to use some of the most difficult (or the most asked) things in Mikseri, would not be a bad idea. But will anyone ever actually do that, is another thing..

Also, with a general "English" forum chances are nobody would actually read the posts since they would be a mish-mash of all kinds of topics. I agree that posting in English language in any of the existing forums is the best way.
I'd like an English front page for those who are downloading my songs from abroad. But at least "LoFI - HiFi- Download" is very clear new-Finnish.

You brought a few good points in that text, but I still feel, that administrators should take a look at the stats on how much of the traffic at mikseri.net comes from abroad. If it seems like there's enough people from outside of Finland visiting, I can't see a reason for this forum-area to not come in handy.

...aika helvetin paskalla kielitaidolla on ilmeisesti kivaa lesota, mitä nyt useimpia viestejä katsoessa voi huomata

Mitä tarkalleen ottaen tuo tarkoittaa? Tarkoitatko, että "I demand that mikseri.net is to be..."?
Hor hor, viilaat ohi. Mutta se siitä. Olin vain hieman yllättynyt siitä, miten hyvää suomea kirjoittavat tyypit suoltavat karseaa englantia.

Hmmm. Minusta tuo olisi paras muodossa "I demand mikseri.net to be transformed...". Tuo ainakin tuntuu oikeimmalta.
