Ne minä kerälle käärin,
sovittelin sommelolle.
Kerän pistin kelkkahani,
sommelon rekoseheni;
ve'in kelkalla kotihin,
rekosella riihen luoksi;
panin aitan parven päähän
vaskisehen vakkasehen.
Viikon on virteni vilussa,
kauan kaihossa sijaisnut.
