Lost With You

Historia: Ace founded Lost With You over 15 years ago and as a result of 2 or 3 years of existence LWY made a debut CD "Battlefield" which got some attention in radio by Metalliliitto and in some magazines. During the years 1997-2002 Ace was employed by a death metal band "Among The Mortals" from Oulu. After 2002 Ace has focused only on LWY and things are starting to get momentum after a while. Ace has defined his music to be Life Metal since "Only thing I can do is to live my life". I guess everyone can relate to the lyrics of Power Inside, we all have days when we could use some extra Power. Ace says he gets that extra Power from making music and hopes that you will get some of it while you listen to it. It seems that everything in life is worth making music of. With having two children Ace comments his life has turned into 24/7 Metal World. "You have to deal with shit, vomit, screaming, crying, shouting and tears every day and every night, and that's not me screaming or vomiting every time", says Ace. "It's ideal to have this kind of situation to keep you motivated and also inspired. If you don't live your life there is no one to do it for you, if you know what I mean. Life is now". In 2007 Ace was ready to reveal Life Metal, a full album of Lost With You. "It's definitely a Metal album" says Ace. With strong and powerful lyrics dealing with different sides of life and full of melodies, Life Metal soon got the attention from melodic metal fans. "Vocals are aggressive, it's almost like I was trying to shout the listener away almost in every song" recalls Ace, "but I had to get something out of me, and it really is something that goes with me. " In 2011 Ace finally started to write new material and with a new direction. The song "Lonely" reveals some deep emotions and connects them to not so metal music. "Maybe I'm softer or maybe I try not to scream so much anymore. But still, the music and lyrics for Lonely came very easy." The new direction is also present in 2012 with songs "Relief" and "Farewell".
