The Surface

”The Surface” is the second official release from Nevicate. The song was published on the 13th of September in 2019.

Musically speaking "The Surface" is a versatile piece with its progressive guitar riffs, electronic elements, peaceful orchestral composition and its alternating vocal parts between emotional screaming and soulful melodic clean vocals. Nevicate also represents their local roots by showcasing the national instrument of Finland, the kantele, gently glued into the heavy background. ”The Surface” is a story of a shaky balance among the opposites of one’s mind.
